IEEE Region 10 Conference 2022

IEEE Region 10 Conference (TENCON) is the annual flagship technical event of IEEE Region 10. This TENCON conference series has gained considerable interest among researchers, academicians, professionals and students in the Asia Pacific Region, covering all technical areas related to the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). The high-profile technology and engineering event gathers more than 1,000 cross-disciplinary professionals, academicians, industry leaders, researchers and students in every edition.

The event, held in a hybrid format on 1-4 November 2022 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, featured hot topics on AI and robotics, communications and signal processing, information sciences, microelectronics, photonics, sustainability and social impact. Two student activities were also held, namely The Young Engineers 2022 (YE-22) and the Pre-University Student Forum. Schools and students were invited to present their project work in this regional event.

The event was held in Hong Kong thanks to the referral of Hong Kong Convention Ambassador Ir Edward Cheung, Chairman of the Joint Chapter on Circuits & Systems and Communications of IEEE Hong Kong Section. The IEEE Hong Kong Section worked closely with the HKTB to successfully bring TENCON to Hong Kong.

We’re excited to host TENCON, an IEEE flagship conference in Hong Kong again in 2022. Hong Kong is an ideal destination for technology-business integration and an international hub for hosting professional conferences in Asia. We had a great experience working with the HKTB.
Dr Pauline Chan
Chair of IEEE Hong Kong Section,
